DYM McCoy

DYM’s first time touching a football started in 3rd grade during a game of PE flag football. It was after scoring her first touchdown that she knew this sport was something she’d want to pursue further. In 2012, she created an all women and COED flag team at her college and helped lead the teams to the College Intramural Championship. After graduating from Graduate school with a MBA degree in 2019, she moved to Atlanta for her Marketing career and joined the Atlanta Women’s Contact Flag Football League. As a Linebacker and Slot receiver, she became an AWFFL - Fall 2021 Co Champion and earned PT Defensive Player of the Week in the following Spring of 2022 Season. DYM’s ‘why’ is dedicated to her inner child and being a Pioneer in women's football for other little girls who are told.. “kickball might be a better sport for you instead.” It’s showing other women that we are capable of doing absolutely anything we put our mind too.
