The Atlanta Rage hosted their first of many football camps this past weekend in Byron, Georgia, about 15 miles outside of Macon. The goal was simple: to create a team bonding experience that will grow and nurture our players individually and as one.
Day 1:
On this cold day in February, the team started of their day with a long distance run at 5:00am. Followed by training, chalk talk, one one one’s, group sessions, and more. The highlight of the day had to be the delicious dinner cooked by the players and the camp fire. Here we sealed our bond as one and let our guards down to understand each other.
Day 2:
The team started of their second day with another long distance run at 5:00am. The experience was different that yesterday, as each player encouraged each other to finish strong. No woman was left to finish her run alone. Again, followed by training, chalk talk, one one one’s, group sessions, and more.
We came as individuals and left as a family! This was surely an experience of a lifetime.
